What is the best way to clean a microwave quickly?

I’m looking for a fast and easy way to clean my microwave without spending too much time scrubbing. I’ve heard steam methods using water and lemon or vinegar can help loosen grime, but I’m not sure what works best in practice. What quick cleaning tricks do you use to make it spotless?

An easy and fast method of cleaning a microwave is to place a bowl of water in the microwave with lemon slices or vinegar and heat it for 3-5 minutes. The steam dislodges dirt and food flies. And then just wipe the inside with a damp cloth or sponge--no scrubbing is necessary, and it smells fresh.

Pour water into a microwave-safe bowl along with some lemon slices and put it in the microwave for 3 to 5 minutes. The steam released will soften the stains and grease. Clean the inner part with a towel. Take out the turntable and clean it separately.

The lemon steam trick genuinely works great, just put water and a few lemon slices in a bowl, microwave it for about 4 minutes, let it sit for a minute, and then everything just wipes off with barely any effort, no scrubbing needed at all.

The quickest way I’ve found is to microwave a bowl of water with lemon slices (or a little vinegar) for about 3–5 minutes until it gets steamy, then let it sit for a minute. The steam loosens all the grime, and you can usually wipe everything clean with a cloth without much scrubbing. I do this when my microwave gets messy, and it saves a lot of time.
