I’m looking for simple advice on monstera plant care since I just got one for my home. How often should I water it, and what kind of light is best for proper monstera plant care? Any beginner-friendly tips to improve monstera plant care and keep the leaves healthy would really help.

Monstera plant care is pretty simple for beginners: water it only when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry (usually every 1–2 weeks), and keep it in bright, indirect light since direct sun can burn the leaves but low light slows growth; make sure the pot has drainage, wipe the leaves occasionally to remove dust, and avoid overwatering, as that’s the most common mistake in monstera plant care and can cause root rot or yellow leaves.
