Honestly, cucumbers are pretty easy to grow. Just plant them in loose, well drained soil, give them plenty of sun, and water them regularly to keep the soil slightly moist.
When I first grew them, I also added a simple trellis so the vines could climb, and it really helped with healthier plants and more cucumbers.
