What is the best way to grow an Astilbe plant in a garden?

I recently started growing an Astilbe plant and want to know how to care for it properly. What type of soil and sunlight does an Astilbe plant need to grow well? I’m also unsure about the watering schedule and maintenance. If anyone has experience with an Astilbe plant, please share your tips.

They love partial to full shade. Make sure your soil is rich in organic matter and stays consistently moist; if the soil dries out, the leaves will crisp up quickly.

These things are basically dramatic water divas. If you miss one watering session, they’ll wilt like they’re auditioning for a Victorian tragedy. Keep the hose handy!
