What is the best way to grow a Lemongrass plant at home?

I recently started growing a Lemongrass plant and would like some advice. What type of sunlight and soil does a Lemongrass plant need? I’m also wondering how often a Lemongrass plant should be watered. Any tips for maintaining a healthy Lemongrass plant would be helpful.

"For a thriving lemongrass plant at home, start by using well-draining soil and partial sunlight. Water regularly but avoid overwatering. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season. Prune the plant to maintain a height of 30-40 inches and encourage new growth. Repot every 6-12 months to refresh the soil and provide a larger pot if necessary."

I've been growing Lemongrass at home for a while now and I've found that it loves full sun to partial shade, so a spot near a sunny window is perfect. As for soil, it prefers well-draining soil that's rich in organic matter, so you can mix in some compost to get it started. Watering is pretty straightforward, just make sure the soil is moist but not waterlogged, so watering every other day should do the trick. One thing to keep in mind is that Lemongrass can be prone to root rot if the soil is too wet, so don't overdo it with the watering. Regular harvesting also helps keep the plant healthy, just trim off the tall stalks and it'll keep growing back.
