What is the best way to take care of a Calathea plant indoors?

I recently bought a Calathea plant and want to ensure it grows well inside my home. What type of light and humidity does a Calathea plant need? I’m also unsure about watering and soil requirements for a Calathea plant. Any care tips for a Calathea plant would be helpful.

The Calathea plant grows best indoors with indirect light, high humidity, and well-draining soil. Keep the soil slightly moist but avoid overwatering, and place the plant away from direct sunlight to prevent leaf damage.

I've had a Calathea plant for a while now and it's doing great, so I'm happy to share some tips with you. Calathea plants prefer bright, indirect light, so a spot near a window with a sheer curtain is perfect. They also love high humidity, so you can place the pot on a tray with pebbles and water to create a humid microclimate. As for watering, make sure the soil is moist but not waterlogged, and use a well-draining potting mix to prevent root rot. Watering once a week is usually enough, but it depends on the temperature and humidity of your home. I also fertilize my Calathea plant during the growing season to promote healthy growth, and it seems to be working well.
