What do plants need to grow well in an outdoor garden? I want to know the basics like sunlight, water, soil, and care to keep them healthy and thriving.

Plants grow well in an outdoor garden when they receive enough sunlight, water, nutrient-rich soil, and proper air circulation. Essential factors include good drainage, the right temperature, and occasional fertilizers or compost to improve soil health. Regular care like pruning, removing weeds, and protecting plants from pests also helps maintain healthy growth and strong roots.

From my experience, most outdoor plants do well when you get the basics right: plenty of sunlight (at least 6–8 hours for most), well-draining soil with some nutrients or compost mixed in, and consistent watering without overdoing it. Good air circulation helps prevent diseases, and a bit of spacing between plants goes a long way. I’ve also noticed that sticking to plants suited for your local climate makes everything much easier.
