I've had great success with gladiolus in my garden by following a few simple steps, planting the corms in a spot that gets plenty of sunlight and has well-drained soil is key, I also make sure to water them regularly but not too much, and staking the tall stems helps keep them upright and looking their best. I've found that feeding them lightly with a balanced fertilizer really brings out the blooms, and after they're done flowering I lift the corms in the fall to protect them from the cold, this way I can replant them in the spring and enjoy another beautiful season of gladiolus flowers.
