How should you properly water air plants indoors?

What’s the right way to water air plants indoors? I’m not sure how often to soak or mist them and want to keep them healthy without overdoing it or letting them dry out.

To get rid of spider mites on indoor plants, rinse the leaves with water to remove the mites, then spray the plant with a mixture of mild soap and water or neem oil. Repeat the treatment every few days and keep the plant isolated until the mites are gone.

The best way is to soak them in water for about 20 to 30 minutes every week or two, then shake off the excess and let them fully dry upside down before putting them back, misting alone usually isn't enough.
