How do you properly care for a Kalanchoe plant indoors?

I recently added a Kalanchoe plant to my indoor plant collection. What type of light and watering routine does a Kalanchoe plant need? I’m also curious about the best soil for a Kalanchoe plant. Any tips for keeping a Kalanchoe plant healthy would be appreciated.

To care for a Kalanchoe indoors, place it in bright indirect sunlight, water only when the soil dries out, and use well-draining soil. Avoid overwatering, as kalanchoe prefers dry conditions like most succulents.

I've had a Kalanchoe plant for a while now and I can tell you that they're pretty low maintenance, which is great for indoor plants. For light, they prefer bright indirect light, so a south-facing window with a sheer curtain works well. Watering is also straightforward, just make sure the soil is dry to the touch between waterings, and avoid getting water on the leaves to prevent rot. As for soil, a well-draining potting mix is best, you can even mix in some perlite or sand to help with drainage. I've found that fertilizing sparingly during the growing season also helps keep my Kalanchoe plant healthy and blooming.
