I recently bought a Begonia plant and want to make sure it grows healthy indoors. What kind of light and watering routine does a Begonia plant need? I’m also curious about the best soil for a Begonia plant. Any advice from experienced growers would be appreciated.
The biggest thing is light. Keep your Begonia plant in bright, indirect sunlight. If the leaves start looking scorched, move it back from the window. For watering, just wait until the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch.
Mine has a total death wish. If I even look at it wrong or breathe too loudly in its direction, three leaves fall off in protest. They are the "divas" of the plant world!
To care for a Begonia at home, keep it in bright, indirect light, water when the top soil feels dry, and use well-draining soil. Maintain moderate humidity and avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
