I’m choosing between vinyl tile and laminate flooring for my home and want something durable for long-term use. Vinyl seems more water-resistant, while laminate is often cheaper. Which one actually lasts longer and performs better in everyday conditions?

For long-term use, the choice depends on durability vs water resistance—the two most important factors.

Best vinyl option (waterproof & durable)
Nexus Self Adhesive Vinyl Floor Tiles · ₹3,573
Durable, waterproof vinyl tiles ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and high-traffic areas.

Best laminate option (wood look & comfort)

Eurotex 8mm Laminate Wooden Flooring · ₹2,350
Stylish laminate flooring with realistic wood finish, best for dry indoor spaces.

Vinyl tile is better for long-term use due to durability, waterproofing, and low maintenance. Laminate offers a wood-like look but is less moisture-resistant, making it better suited for dry areas only.
