I’m looking for help or insights on understanding seed oils. What exactly are seed oils, how are they made, and where are they commonly found in everyday foods?

Seed oils refer to the vegetable oils that are derived from the seeds of plants such as sunflower, soybean, canola, and corn. They are very common in home cooking, baking, and processed foods mainly because they are inexpensive and have a long shelf life.

Seed oils, a category of vegetable oils, are obtained from the seeds of plants such as soybean, sunflower, corn, canola, and cottonseed. They have become the most common oils used for cooking and in packaged food products due to their low cost, long shelf life, and high heat tolerance.
