Is a swivel chair a good option for home office use?

I’m setting up a home office and considering a swivel chair. It seems convenient for movement, but I’m unsure about comfort and long-term support. Are swivel chairs a good choice for daily work, or should I look for something more ergonomic?

It's convenient for moving around your desk but if you're sitting for hours daily you'll want one with proper lumbar support, a swivel without ergonomic features gets uncomfortable pretty fast.

Yeah, a swivel chair is a solid choice for a home office. I’ve used one myself, and the ability to rotate and move around without getting up makes a big difference during long work sessions. Just make sure it has good lumbar support, adjustable height, and decent cushioning, comfort can become an issue after a few hours.

Yes, a swivel chair is great for a home office. It allows easy movement, reduces strain when reaching items, and improves ergonomics. Choose one with lumbar support, adjustable height, and cushioning for comfort during long working hours.
