How to grow corn for beginners?

I’m planning to grow corn in my garden this season. How to grow corn successfully as a beginner? I’d appreciate tips on soil preparation, spacing, watering, and improving yield.

Start with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and plant corn in blocks (not rows) about 8–12 inches apart for better pollination; keep it consistently watered and add compost or fertilizer early on, trust me, it makes a big difference in yield.

Plant corn in blocks of at least four rows for wind pollination. Use nutrient-rich soil and plant seeds 2.5 cm deep once it's warm. Water consistently, especially during silking. Harvest when silks turn brown and kernels release a milky liquid when pierced. It's the ultimate fresh garden treat!

The planting of corn as a novice should be in 4 row blocks of 2.5 cm deep to facilitate wind pollination. Always use well-drained and nutrient-rich soils and water particularly when silking. When silks are brown and kernels flow with a milky substance when they are pierced, then harvest.
