How Often Should You Water A Money Plant?

I am confused about the correct watering schedule for a money plant. Different people suggest different frequencies, so I want to know the best way to water it for healthy growth.

Water a money plant when the first 12 inches of the soil are dry. It means watering the plant about once every 5-7 days during the summer and once every 10-14 days during the winter in most homes. Be careful not to water too much, as excess water in the soil is one of the main causes of root rot.

I've had my fair share of experience with money plants and I think the key is to not overwater them. Generally, I water mine once a week, but this can vary depending on the climate and soil mix. If you live in a humid place, you might need to water it less often, while in drier areas, you might need to do it more frequently. A good way to check is to stick your finger into the soil up to the first knuckle, if it feels dry, it's time to water. This way, you can ensure your plant gets just the right amount of moisture for healthy growth.
