How far to plant peaches for proper growth?

I’m planning to plant peach trees in my backyard. How far to plant peaches so they have enough space to grow and produce fruit? I want to avoid overcrowding and ensure healthy trees.

To ensure healthy growth and high yields, space peach trees based on their size:
  • Standard trees: 15–20 feet apart.
  • Semi-dwarf trees: 12–15 feet apart.
  • Dwarf trees: 8–10 feet apart.
Proper spacing prevents overcrowding, ensures adequate sunlight, and promotes the airflow necessary to minimize disease.

I’d space peach trees about 15–20 feet apart so they get enough sunlight and airflow, trust me it makes a big difference once they start growing full and fruiting nicely.
