I’m thinking of adding an umbrella tree to my indoor plant collection but want to be sure it’s a good choice. Are umbrella trees easy to care for indoors, and do they adapt well to low light and indoor conditions?

Yes, umbrella trees (Schefflera) are good indoor plants. They’re easy to care for, tolerate low to bright indirect light, and help improve indoor air quality. With proper watering and occasional pruning, they grow well indoors and add a tropical, decorative look to homes and offices.

Umbrella trees can make great indoor plants, they're relatively low maintenance and can thrive in a variety of conditions. They prefer bright indirect light, but can adapt to low light, just be aware they might not grow as quickly. Watering is straightforward, just make sure the soil isn't too wet or dry, and fertilize occasionally. One thing to keep in mind is they can grow quite tall, so you'll need to prune them regularly to keep them manageable indoors. Overall, umbrella trees are a good choice for indoor plants, they're forgiving and can add a nice touch to your space.
