Why are the leaves of my rattlesnake plant curling?

My rattlesnake plant was doing fine, but now the leaves are curling and fading. I keep it indoors with indirect light. What could be causing this issue?

"Hey there, fellow plant parent. I've had a rattlesnake plant with curling leaves before, and I think I know the culprit - overwatering. When the soil is consistently too moist, the leaves can start to curl up. Make sure to let the top 1-2 inches of soil dry out between waterings and see if that helps. Leaves of a rattlesnake plant (Calathea) curl mainly due to stress. Common reasons:

• Low humidity – the most common cause
• Underwatering – soil too dry
• Tap water chemicals – sensitive to fluoride/chlorine
• Too much sunlight – prefers indirect light
• Temperature stress – cold drafts or heat
