I love tropical-style gardens and Hawaiian flowers look stunning. What are some popular Hawaiian flowers, and how can they be grown successfully in a home garden?

Hibiscus, plumeria, and bird of paradise are the classic ones, they all love full sun and warm temperatures. Outside of Hawaii you can still grow them in pots and bring them inside during winter, they do really well that way.

Hawaiian flowers are definitely a great choice for a tropical-style garden, they're so beautiful and exotic. Some popular ones include plumeria, hibiscus, and orchids, which are all relatively easy to grow if you've got the right conditions. Plumeria and hibiscus love full sun and well-draining soil, while orchids prefer a bit more shade and consistent moisture. If you're looking to grow them in a home garden, make sure you've got a warm and humid spot, and use a good quality potting mix that's designed for tropical plants. With a little care and attention, you should be able to get some stunning blooms and create a gorgeous tropical oasis.

Hibiscus, plumeria, and bird of paradise are the big three you'll see everywhere in Hawaii, they all love full sun and well-draining soil, just don't let them sit in soggy roots and they'll do really well even outside Hawaii if your climate is warm enough.
