What are flowers that start with "Cal" — and which ones grow best in gardens?

I came across Calendula and Calliopsis while browsing, and now I'm curious about all flowers that start with Cal. Are there many varieties, and which ones are best suited for outdoor garden beds? I'd especially love recommendations for warm or tropical climates.

Calendula and Calibrachoa are the easiest to grow and both do really well in warm weather, for tropical or hot climates Calibrachoa is especially great since it loves heat and keeps blooming all summer without much fuss.

Some flowers that start with “Cal” include Calendula, California Poppy, Calibrachoa, and Calla Lily. For gardens, Calendula and California Poppy are great for beginners because they are easy to grow and tolerate different conditions. Calibrachoa works well in hanging baskets and containers, while Calla Lilies are popular for elegant flower beds and moist garden areas.

"Hey fellow gardeners, I've got a few Cal-flowers for you. Calendula is a great one - it's easy to grow and attracts pollinators. If you're looking for something a bit more exotic, try California poppy or Calystegia. Just remember, Calanthe orchids are a bit finicky, so make sure you give them the right conditions"

Flowers starting with Cal include Calendula, Calibrachoa, California Poppy, Caladium, and Calla Lily. Among these, Calendula and California Poppy are especially popular for gardens because they are colorful, easy to maintain, and adapt well to different climates. Calla Lilies also grow beautifully in garden beds with moist soil and partial sunlight. Most Cal flowers prefer well-draining soil, regular watering, and good sunlight to produce healthy blooms throughout the growing season.
