I’m thinking about planting Norway spruce trees in my yard—how quickly do Norway spruce tree grow, and how long does it usually take for them

Norway spruce trees can grow relatively quickly, especially in the right conditions. On average, they can grow 1-2 meters per year, with some trees reaching heights of over 20 meters in as little as 20-30 years. Factors like soil quality, water availability, and sunlight exposure can all impact their growth rate.

Norway spruce trees are a great choice, they're pretty fast-growing, especially when they're young. On average, they can grow around 3 to 5 feet per year for the first 10 to 15 years, which is pretty quick. After that, the growth rate slows down a bit, to around 1 to 2 feet per year. As for how long it takes for them to reach their full height, it can vary, but generally, it takes around 50 to 70 years for a Norway spruce to reach its mature height of around 50 to 80 feet. So, if you're looking for a tree that will provide shade and beauty to your yard relatively quickly, Norway spruce is a good option.
