How many purple flowers are on Ginger Island in Stardew Valley?

I’m currently working through the Field Office quests for Professor Snail and I’ve hit a bit of a snag with the survey questions. I want to make sure I have the count perfect before I submit my answer to the desk. Does anyone know the exact number for how many purple flowers on ginger island are scattered around the landscape, specifically near the botanical research area?

I've been through the Field Office quests myself and I remember counting those purple flowers on Ginger Island. If I recall correctly, there are 5 purple flowers scattered around the botanical research area, but I think there might be a few more elsewhere on the island. I'd recommend taking a few minutes to thoroughly explore the area and count them yourself to be sure, since it's easy to miss one or two. That way you can submit your answer with confidence and get the survey questions just right for Professor Snail.
