I’m planning to grow a Bell pepper plant and want to know the best care practices. What type of soil and sunlight does a Bell pepper plant require? I’m also unsure about watering and fertilizing a Bell pepper plant. Any tips for growing a productive Bell pepper plant would be appreciated.

To grow a healthy bell pepper plant at home, provide it with full sun and well-draining soil with a pH between 6.0 and 7.0. Water regularly but avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer and support the plant as it grows to prevent damage. Keep the area around the plant weed-free to promote healthy growth.

Growing healthy bell peppers at home is very easy. You just need to start seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost, keep the temperature above 70°F (21°C), and move the seedlings to pots filled with rich, well-draining soil. Besides getting 6-8 hours of direct sunlight, giving the plants a steady supply of water, and using stakes for support, also regularly fertilize and keep an eye on pests such as aphids.
