How can I improve fruit production in blueberry plants?

My blueberry plants are growing well but not producing many berries. Do they need special soil or fertilizer? Looking for suggestions.

Your blueberry plants are growing well but not producing many berries, that's a bit frustrating. I think one thing to look at is the soil pH, blueberries need it to be pretty acidic, around 4.5 to 5.5. If your soil is too alkaline, that could be limiting production. You might consider getting a soil test to check the pH and nutrient levels. As for fertilizer, a balanced acidic fertilizer can help, but make sure it's not too high in nitrogen or it can promote leaf growth over fruiting. Also, are your plants getting enough water and sunlight, blueberries need consistent moisture and full sun to produce well.

Improve blueberry fruit production by planting in acidic soil (pH 4.5–5.5), ensuring full sun, regular watering, mulching, pruning old stems, and using balanced fertilizers designed for acid-loving plants.

First thing to check is your soil pH, blueberries are super picky and need it between 4.5 and 5.5 to fruit properly, also make sure they're getting full sun and consistent watering because even healthy looking plants won't produce much without those basics.

Improve blueberry fruit production by planting in acidic, well-drained soil, providing full sun, consistent watering, mulching roots, pruning old branches yearly, and growing multiple varieties nearby for better pollination and larger harvests.

For better blueberry fruit production, make sure they’re getting plenty of sunlight (at least 6–8 hours), acidic soil (around pH 4.5–5.5), and consistent watering, especially during flowering and fruiting. I’ve also noticed that pruning older branches helps a lot since it encourages new growth and better yields. If possible, plant two different blueberry varieties for cross-pollination. It can noticeably improve fruit production.
