I’m planning to add Zagreb Coreopsis to my garden—does Zagreb Coreopsis spread a lot over time, and will it take over nearby plants or stay fairly compact in the flower bed?
From my experience, Zagreb Coreopsis spreads slowly but it’s not aggressive. It usually forms small clumps and may self-seed a little. In my garden it fills space nicely without choking other plants.
I’ve had Zagreb Coreopsis for about three years now. It spreads a bit wider each season but mostly just becomes a fuller clump. Mine hasn’t invaded anything nearby.
